When I was staying in Northumberland recently, I was delighted to be able to watch roe deer nearly every day, from the bedroom window of my B&B, The Mill House at Guyzance.

This experience inspired the painting "Here comes the sun".
I usually saw them on the grassy hill with the sun behind them, and I imagined a slightly more flowery setting for a summery feel.

This painting will be exhibited in the window of Flowers by Pauline, Regent Street in Rugby, during Rugby Festival of Culture from 26th June to 12th July.
