I recently visited the Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre in Somerset, with friends from The Wildlife Art Society International.
We had a wonderful tour round the centre, where they do such valuable work in rescuing and re-habilitating all sorts of British Wildlife.
As well as some resident owls, we had a peep at a hedgehog which was recovering well and putting on weight, ready to be released back into the wild.
Such an appealing little creature will surely feature in one of my drawings.
