In a few weeks time, some of my paintings will be exhibited in the Society of Feline Artists's Exhibition at Llewellyn Alexander Gallery, Waterloo, London - from 24th August to 15th September - along with work from over 50 other feline artists in the Society.

This is the third acrylic painting of mine - "Shady Lady" - and I have depicted a lovely Abyssinian cat that I saw whilst on holiday, walking along a garden path.
I was fascinated by the dappled shadows cast over both the cat and the path in the low, late light, which made an interesting pattern leading the eye into the picture.
