After a very busy season of Exhibitions and Art & Craft Fairs, I was delighted to end the year by having two recent paintings accepted for the Rugby Open 2017.

This is an annual exhibition at Rugby Museum & Art Gallery, which invites entries from artists throughout the area.
There is always a very diverse range of artistic styles and media, and the competition is strong, so I was particularly pleased to have two works accepted this year.

"Golden Gathering" and "Skedaddle!" are both in acrylic on canvas.

This year I have been concentrating on developing work which shows movement in wild animal behaviour, and also the patterns shown by groups of wildlife together - I hope to continue this theme in 2018.
