This week I visited the Treacle Tarts WI group in Nuneaton, and demonstrated
pastel drawing for them.

I chose to sketch a mute swan, which I have painted in different media several times
before, as I love to depict white birds with all the reflected colours on their feathers.

They were a lively and interested group, asking all sorts of questions, and I'm sure
they enjoyed the demonstration. After some work on the following day, I was fairly
pleased with the results.
