I have struggled to make any new work since family bereavements last year
left me in a very low mood, but recently the creative impulse has tentatively
returned, and I was pleased to finish "Personal Space" - an acrylic canvas
depicting seabirds seen nesting on cliffs of the Farne Islands, Northumberland.

The long vertical format reflects the experience of sitting in a boat below the
cliffs, watching the nesting birds of several species, with all the movement,
sound (and smell!) effects thrown in.
Thankfully, I can now plan other visits to enjoy this type of experience.
