Ring-Tailed Lemurs are very family orientated, and tend to group
together in a close huddle - wrapping their spectacular long tails
around the group, making it difficult to work out which tail belongs
to which head!

I enjoyed making this black-and-white paper cut using this idea,
and as there are three heads and only two tails, it is up to the viewer
to work out which is which!
Cutting by hand with a sharp scalpel, I made different textures to
imitate their grey fur against the black and white tails.
