I was delighted to discover that one of my entries for the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (NEWA) in the Wirral has been accepted - my papercut "Splish Splash".

We get quite a few starlings in the garden, youngsters and adults, making a lot of noise and splashing about in the bird-bath, so in this piece I was trying to show some of their energy and humour.

NEWA is a huge annual exhibition of nearly 400 pieces of wildlife art, so it's very pleasing to have something on show, and I hope for a sale!
