Last month I demonstrated in acrylics for the Rushden & District Art Society, and they wanted to see me painting one of the many domestic cats that I portray.

I chose some reference of a lovely tabby cat, and imagined him on his favourite window seat in the sunshine, with lace curtains partially hiding him.
The Art Society was very appreciative, asking many questions about the technical aspects of acrylic paint.
Although I didn't finish completely in the evening, with a little more work I was satisfied with the progress, and I will enter the painting for the Society of Feline Artist's Exhibition in London this summer.
