I lately made my annual spring visit to Northumberland
- my favourite county for watching wildlife,
where I can gain plenty of reference for future paintings.

Amongst other delights, this year I was able to watch a small family
of Roe deer every day, and a trip to the Farne Islands gave me
a close view of the popular Puffins.

Now I have lots of fresh ideas to work on between exhibitions.
