This winter weather has brought me some wonderful inspiration in the form of frosty
patterns, both on the windows and on the leaves outside.

I can remember seeing frost "flowers" on many windows as a child, and this small
pattern which appeared one morning, together with the patterns which the hoar
frost created on the edges of leaves in the hedge, gave me the idea for a picture.



I have already planned a paper cut, using the lace-like patterns over dark leaves,
and this will soon be a work in progress.
