Recently I visited the Peak Wildlife Park in Staffordshire, as I had heard
that they have a Red Squirrel breeding programme, aimed at returning
them to the wild in suitable habitats.

They have an enclosure which can be walked through by visitors, but
I was unable to see the squirrels there on that day.
In the Breeding Programme enclosure, however, I was able to watch
three young squirrels, and enjoyed filming them, admiring their athleticism
and their beauty.
I shall be using some of the reference I gained in work later this year.
